Hi, I’m David – a qualified Maths teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience. Alongside my teaching background, I’ve worked as a data scientist and developed deep expertise in tools like Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL. Over the past year, I’ve been combining my passions by helping people build confidence and capability in data science.

What sets me apart is my ability to make complex data concepts feel approachable. I know how overwhelming data can seem at first, which is why I bring a teaching mindset to every session. I break down tough ideas, build skills step by step, and help learners move from confusion to confidence. Whether you’re just starting out or levelling up, I’ll guide you with clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of encouragement.
Outside of Work
When I’m not diving into datasets, you’ll likely find me exploring new places — I’ve travelled to over 40 countries (and counting). I’m also a big fan of trivia, sports, and hiking. These interests keep me curious, active, and always learning — qualities I bring into my teaching too.
